I may not have done great in French GCSE but i'l always remember rather excelling at a little 'extra' class we had called 'Survival Cookery' aimed at preparing us for leaving home and going to Uni.
It's been said, 'Necessity is the mother of Invention' and now with no mum or wife around yet I've had to cook all my own meals the past 6 weeks after moving out.
I've been into cooking for a few years now and actualy realy enjoy it, tonight I cooked a chicken stir fry for Leanne and myself and the above concoction was made with my own hands from scratch last week. Mabye I could open a pizza shop.
Necessity has also extended beyond the kitchen and forced me to learn some other new skills, I guess there's always some good points on one of life's steep learning curves!
Yesterday I had to stop a leak under the sink, I've had to work out what and how much food to buy to last a week and presently theres a bed waiting for me to dismantle and retire it to the roofspace.
8" Pizzas £5, delivery within Kinallen housing estate only. Not as far as Whitethorn Grove though, sorry Pete.
