just an observation...

You're bound to have noticed what an amazing night it was last night. As soon as I was home from work the trackies went on with an old hoodie. Up to the top of Slieve Croob Leanne and I went, and the view was class. We stood for ages working out where everything was. It took us a while to be sure of what Lake / town / mountain we were looking at cus it just looked too small from up there to be the real thing.
If you've never been up Slieve Croob go! On one side you can see Newcastle, all the Mournes and even right down to the harbour. On the other you can see Harland and Wolf clear as day.

Anyway, as is common for Leanne at this time of year she spent most of the way up coo-ing over the baby lambs running around with their mothers. To be honest, I do think they're very cute but I can get over that when tempted by some chops with Thyme & Rosemary sauce mmmmm!

Why is it though, that in nature, some animals change from ugly to beautiful yet others seem to go the other way around? Like sheep.

Someone once told me it happens with wives, they turn out like your mother in-law they said.
Terrible thing to say!

In case anyone is wondering / offended by Pete Martins adopted title above...we seen it printed on the back of a Linfield shirt at the match Saturday, prompting conversation. He's not being intentionaly Blasphemous, i think ;)

(Pete keeps trying to get out of a scenic walk I want to start doing for some execise, and he supplies me with cooked chicken legs cus his family is fussy about dark meat) just to explain the craziness.
